TEMPORARY SCHOOL IN THEATRE
Temporary school we have designed as a group is located in the Pavilion theatre. Because this theatre is national heritage and has nice Art-Deco design, we had to consider that only short-lived construction needed that will protect the existing features from any kind of damage. Therefore, all of the walls we installed are easy to build and remove as well as flooring. We used Lego walls (EverLock System) to divide the space by classrooms, which are good for school in terms of fun and style. There are two lines of transparent blocks to let the light to come through it. To provide adequate level of acoustics, we have located Agile acoustic panels that absorb sound. The whole design is focused on calming atmosphere after the disaster, using bright colors. For instance, blue aids concentration, green provides calming and orange and purple as they are stimulating and bright.
